Sometimes miracles comes in pairs.

A few months ago, I received an email that instantly pulled at my heart strings. I learned a little about two precious little angles and their not so easy journey into this world. Right away I knew I had do everything I could to create a special session for them.

Milayna and Naya were born two months premature. Milayna weighed 3lbs 6oz at birth and Naya was 2lbs 4oz. Naya underwent her first surgery to repair her Omphalocele at 4 days old and has been at sick kids ever since birth. She is patiently waiting for an open heart surgery which should hopefully happen by the end of the year when she is bigger and stronger.

Since Naya isn’t able to leave the hospital, we decided to do a special session for them there. So a few weeks ago, with the help of my handsome husband/assistant for the day, we went to visit this beautiful family at Sick Kids. Before I go into how much I ADORE this little angels, I must say the staff at Sick Kids are truly amazing at what they do. I have never seen a group of doctors and nurses care so much about their patients! To the Staff of Sick Kids, Thank you for all that you do!

Milayna and Naya, Im so grateful that I had the chance to meet you. Even though you are just a few months old, you can already see in your eyes the fight and determination you both have. You both have our own personalities and have to deal with your own journeys in life, but the bond that to you share is such a beautiful blessing. You both are true survivors. You show everyone around you the power of faith and prayer. Im so excited to watch you both grow and can’t wait to see where your life will take you!

Take a peak of some of my favourite photos from their session!
